The Lyceum, Manchester

Our latest live scheme consists of a new build project sat behind a retained front façade of an existing listed building formerly the Crown Theatre, Eccles, Manchester.

The Lyceum, Manchester

The scheme has been brought to us from an existing client as part of a salvage scheme following the collapse of a previous developer. Abrey has been entrusted to bring together a full team of consultants and contractors to successfully deliver the construction of the scheme in line with the existing investors’ expectations.

Client:

Integritas Property Group Ltd

Project Value:

£8.0m

Completion:

September 2023

The existing building is in a very poor state of disrepair with elements of the building already collapsed, fire damaged and structurally unstable. Our initial remit is to ensure the building remains safe and stable whilst also dealing with a large volume of asbestos safely.

Following a full design process, the scheme will then be built out utilising modern construction methods to create 82nr apartments complete with underground parking. The scheme will comprise of an internal garden area with a circular internal walkway and void, accompanied by 2nr new lifts to serve all floors.
